I’ve been a huge fan for a long time. I listen to Island Nights at least once a month. It never gets old. I wish I could say the same for myself. Maybe listening to it keeps me young in my mind. Great album. Do yourself and your friends a favor: Get the album. You’ll be glad you did. But a word of caution: it’s addictive. Is that a bad thing?

All of Tony’s music is wonderful. He captures the essence of the Easter Shore and the summer. You feel like you’re getting a good dose of the sun and beach every time you listen.

I look forward to every new song. Enjoy all of it.

It was great to see- disappointed though that there wasn’t any talk with the group. I also didn’t realize that Sam Kinison was in the band…

Hey Tony, it looks great & displays all of your wonderful talents . Also the Jimmy Fallon gig was great, what a blast from the past. I know you were reeling, loved it!

  4. Reggie says:

Tony, So very proud of all of your accomplishments. It was great to see Taso and you on Jimmy Fallon’s show. The band sounded great. Maybe a tour?

I’ve had Island night when it first came out and have the Cd. I’m 53 years old and would not have a guess on how many times I’ve listened to it far more than any other album or CD I’ve owned. It brings back great memories in baltimore back in 1980 in a small club in parkville I can’t remember the name of anymore. This album is #1 for me with Facedancers This World #2. Tony you made a lot of lonely trips over the road for me a lot less lonely back in the 80’s and 90’s. When I listen to that CD once in a while I’m 20 again, thank you!

  9. Bob Rodgers says:

Hi Tony. Doubt you remember me but we worked together some 35+ years ago. I ran the Holiday Inn on Cromwell Bridge in Towson and your band played in the lounge for quite a long time. During this time I was lucky enough to become acquainted with you and became pretty good friends with your brother Michael. Recall your bass player Eddie DiMarino. Last time I heard anything about him he was off to Vegas to try to break into the business there. Maybe Jay Williamson was the B3 player in that group? Can’t recall the drummer. Hope you and Michael are both doing and feeling well. Read some info about you online and congrats on having a good career in the music business. Tough business but you’ve managed to hang in and thrive. Time flies, I’m approaching my 67th birthday. Having some health issues and I guess mortality tends to make some of us nostalgic. Happy New Year and all the best! Bob Rodgers

  10. Tony says:

    Bob,

Yes I remember you well! You ran a great restaurant and we all thought quite highly of you!
Well, it’s been a Roller Coaster ride being in the music business but if you love it you take the up’s and downs.
Brother Michael is my Webmaster and alerted me that you left the above comment.
I also ironically saw Jay Williamson this morning as he has a Barbershop up the street from where I live.
If you ever get back here please come to the HORSESHOE CASINO and check my Piano Bar out! ~All the best~ Tony
