By Tony Sciuto - Derek Pellicci
He did some damage when he was a kid
Psychotic strings attached to all that he did
He roamed the backstreets with partners in crime
But there were singular actions in the back of his mind
His friends grew up he grew downward instead
And there’s two kind of people
THE QUICK AND THE DEAD
Two kind of people the QUICK AND THE DEAD
He got more crazy as the future rolled by
These faint little voices keep telling him why
He craved the headlines and the 9 ‘o Clock news
But there was no sense of feeling in his radical views
He was a dreamer in a comfortable bed
And there’s two kind of people the
QUICK AND THE DEAD
Two kind of people the QUICK AND THE DEAD
Mountains of gold from one little seed
Wasted away by the demon of greed
Out of the manger into his final act
He lost all power in his castle of dreams
New kids arriving with lucrative schemes
He spent a lifetime as the consummate clown
But there he was all alone as the curtain came down
He should’ve quit when he was so far ahead
But there’s two kind of people the QUICK AND THE DEAD
