"Broken Open"

By Tony Sciuto - S.Egorin- M. Araquette)

My Life was Broken Open
Like a Lonely Train, Off the track
Nowhere bound, no way back and I was Lonesome

My Life was Broken Open
Like a Boxer up against the ropes
Leather worn, Fighting Ghosts
In Slow Motion

I’ve Broken Open
Like Sunrise Breaks Horizon
Like a caged Bird breakin’ free
Ships break the Ocean
I’ve Broken Open
Like a scream breaks silence into sound
And Lightening Breaks a Heavy Cloud
I feel I have awoken (To See)
I’ve Broken Open to Me

My Life was Broken Open
Like an Artist lost without a Muse
I was Seein’ Red, Paintin’ Blue
With no emotion

My Life was Broken Open
When I fell out of your eyes
I was Petrified, Paralyzed, I was Frozen

Now I’ve Broken Open
Like Sunrise breaks Horizon
Like a Caged Bird Breakin’ Free
Like a ship Breaks the Ocean
I’ve Broken Open
Like a scream breaks silence into sound
And Lightening Breaks a Heavy Cloud
I feel I have awoken (To See)
I’ve Broken Open to Me

Like a wounded soldier home from War
I’m pickin’ up the shattered pieces of the life I lived before
No one can teach you how to mend
With Love inside your Heart
You can be Whole Again

Like Sunrise breaks Horizon
(I’ve Broken Open)
Like a Caged Bird Breakin’ Free
(I’ve Broken Open)
Like a scream breaks silence into sound
(I’ve Broken Open)
Like Lightening Breaks a Heavy Cloud
I feel I have awoken (finally)
I’ve Broken Open To Me
